Han River Picnic Rules for Visitors
The handful of park rules that actually matter for a foreign visitor — what's fine, what isn't, and why the rental sets are designed around them.
Han River parks are public, well-used, and lightly regulated — most rules exist to keep the lawns open for everyone, not to restrict picnics.
Shade, not shelter
Large tents and shade canopies aren't allowed on the main lawns during peak season, which is why GO HANGANG sets use compact sunshades instead — enough shade for a table, without blocking the view for people behind you.
No open flames
Personal grills, portable stoves, and open flames are prohibited across all Han River parks. None of GO HANGANG's sets include cooking equipment — bring food that's ready to eat, or order delivery to the park, which is common practice locally.
Alcohol and trash
Drinking is allowed in moderation; loud or disruptive behavior isn't. Glass bottles are discouraged near the lawns. Take your trash with you or use the bins near the pickup point — lawn-side bins are limited.
